I purchased a set of 4 Goodyear Fortera with Triple tread tires exactly 2 years ago for my wife's Ford Expedition. She has put 37,000 miles on the tires over that 2 year period and the tires are already worn to the indicator. Tires have been rotated every 5,000 miles and are evenly worn. Vehicle was also aligned when the tires were installed. Vehicle is driven very conservatively as my wife uses it to transport my 2 young daughters to and from school. A significant portion of the mileage over this 2 year period is also from Interstate travel. While I believe that the safety of the tires and performance in rainy conditions are very good, the life of the tires was not acceptable. For the very expensive price paid for these tires, we should have been able to get more than 37,000 miles out of them.
