I've always used Michelins on my vehicles. Had the XTerrains on my Tahoe and got great wear out of them. They were an excellent tire, wore well, handled well, rode well. No complaints. When I needed to replace them after 72,000 miles I found that they think a lot of their tires because the prices are out of sight. Started looking around and discovered (no pun intended) the Discoverer CTS. Couldn't get a lot of info on them since they are so new. In fact mine were the first set the dealer had installed. But the specs were great-as good as the Michelin, 60000 mile tread warranty- same as the Michelins and the price significantly less than the Michelins. So far I'm impressed. In fact I can't tell the difference between these and the Michelins I had before. They ride great, corner well, great wet traction, quiet and in 8000+ miles hsow almost no wear. What more can I say except who needs Michelins?
