I purchased these tires to replace my wornout Goodyear Eagle RS/A's. The General was priced nicely so I thought I'd give them a try. The tire is very quiet in comparison to other tires I've had on my VW. I must say that the tires ride nicely but they do have a very soft sidewall which allows quite a bit of shoulder roll. Highway driving is greatly improved with the General Acclaim HP's but for sporty driving in the mountains they are a compromise. They're soft, quiet, and balanced very easily.
I may try the General Exclaim UHP's for my next set. I DO recommend the Acclaim HP for the nice price. I just hope that they last as well as my previous Goodyear and Continental tires that I've used on this car.
